Managing Clients

The Clients page is your central hub for managing all the businesses you serve. From here, you can create new clients, update their information, assign agents, and monitor each client’s activity at a glance.

Viewing Your Clients

Navigate to Clients in the sidebar to see a list of all your client accounts. The client list displays:

  • Client name — The business or organization name
  • Contact information — Primary contact email and phone
  • Agent count — How many agents are assigned to this client
  • Status — Whether the client is active or inactive

You can search and filter the list to find specific clients quickly.

Creating a Client

  1. Navigate to the Clients page
  2. Click the Add Client button
  3. Fill in the client details:
    • Client name (required) — The business name that will appear in the dashboard and client portal
    • Contact email — Primary email for the client
    • Contact phone — Primary phone number
  4. Click Create to save the new client

Creating a client does not automatically send any notifications. You will need to separately invite users if you want the client’s team to access their portal.

Editing a Client

To update a client’s information:

  1. Click on the client name in the client list, or click the edit icon
  2. Modify the fields you want to change
  3. Click Save to apply the updates

Changes to client name will be reflected everywhere in the dashboard and in the client portal.

Deleting a Client

To remove a client from your account:

  1. Navigate to the client’s settings
  2. Click Delete Client
  3. Confirm the deletion

Deleting a client is permanent. All agents, call history, and configuration associated with that client will be removed. This action cannot be undone. Consider deactivating a client instead if you may need to restore them later.

Assigning Agents to Clients

Every agent must be assigned to a client. You assign a client when creating an agent in the Agent Editor, and you can reassign agents later if needed.

To see which agents belong to a client, click on the client name to view their detail page. The agent list shows all agents scoped to that client along with their status and assigned phone numbers.

Moving an Agent Between Clients

If you need to reassign an agent to a different client:

  1. Open the agent in the Agent Editor
  2. Change the Client dropdown to the new client
  3. Save the agent

Moving an agent between clients preserves the agent’s configuration but call history stays associated with the original client.

Client Limits

Your plan determines how many clients you can create:

  • Starter — Up to 3 clients
  • Growth — Up to 10 clients
  • Agency — Up to 25 clients

When you reach your limit, the Add Client button will be disabled. You will need to upgrade your plan or remove an existing client to add a new one.

Best Practices

  • Use descriptive names — Name clients by their business name so your team can quickly identify them
  • Keep contact info current — Update email and phone when your client’s primary contact changes
  • Review agent assignments — Periodically check that each client has the correct agents assigned
  • Archive before deleting — Export any important call data before removing a client
